Review- Missha Creamy Strawberry Latte Cleansing Foam

Missha Strawberry Latte Cleansing Foam

Just a quick review...

I purchased this at the Missha store while in Korea this summer.

I wanted a new face wash, and they had this set of 3 on sale for the super-steal price of 7,000 Won!!! That's about $7 US.

It came with Strawberry, Chocolate, and Green Tea, which sounded yummy!

Strawberry is the first one I am trying, I haven't had a chance to sample the others.

This Cleanser is very thick, it is pink and pearly, and creates a luxurious foam.  It does have a unique "strawberries and cream" smell, not exactly the regular strawberry scent of bath products.  I think the scent is pleasant and not overpowering.

It leaves my skin feeling squeaky-clean.  I like that feeling, especially in comparison to the cream cleanser I've been using lately.  However, I'm not 100% sure this cleanser is perfect for dry winter weather.  If I notice that this ends up drying out my skin, I may have to pack it away for the warmer months.  Overall, though, its a great face wash, especially for the the price!

  6. I found your blog searching for a review on this cleanser. Very nice to meet you ^_^

    Just a few questions, though:

    Does it remove makeup too?

Do you do asian skincare routines (double wash, toner, etc?)?

Thanks for doing a review, there's not a lot of info out there on this cleanser

    1. Hi sweetie! So glad you found my blog, I hope you enjoyed my post! I would say this cleanser is a pretty basic Korean-style cleansing foam. Seems similar to other inexpensive products I tried in Korea. Nice creamy texture, thick foamy lather, and smells nice.

I generally don't wear too much makeup so I don't use any separate make-up remover with this, unless I'm wearing heavy mascara or eyeliner, then I go for the eye makeup remover first. I find it leaves my skin feeling very clean (I have "normal" skin-not too dry or oily)

I don't usually do the double wash, but I do follow up with Missha Super Aqua Marine Forest toner and emulsion. I mention it in my post on my skincare routine:

I will be doing a review of a Japanese 4-step line I recently tried called Dr Ci:Labo soon, so check back if you are interested. and feel free to ask anything else I left out :-) Thanks again for reading!

  7. Man you got auch a deal! They sell online for at least 7.00 each. I have a question, do you just use a pea size amount or would you need more or less to wash the whole face? Thanks!

    1. Hi! Thanks for reading:-) I generally use a little bit more than a pea size amount. But it is very thick and creamy and foams up really nice. You don't have to use a whole lot. I've been using this face wash since I wrote this post back in December and it's only about half gone. So I think it lasts pretty well.

  8. Hi! I'm thinking about ordering this product (the Strawberry Latte one) but I have some doubts about it:
It is recommended for daily use?
Does it removes the BB Cream too? (I'm using Skin79 Vital Orange one)
I'll be glad if you can help me decide! Thanks a lot :)

    1. Hi. So sorry for my slow reply! I am using a Nature Republic BB these days, and I find that the Strawberry latte cleanser takes my makeup off just fine. It is an everyday face wash, not a deep cleanser or anything. I really like this product and I use it daily. I have normal skin that is neither dry nor oily. I do find, however, that it can make my skin feel a little tight sometimes. I would recommend this product if you have normal to oily skin. If your skin is dry it might be a little too drying. Hope that helps. Feel free to ask anything else :-)

  10. I've purchased the Creamy Latte Strawberry yesterday and I'm in love with it! I want to buy the chocolate and the green tea ones. How can I know if the cleaser foams are for a kind of skin?

I'm a new follower by the way ^^

    1. Hi! Thanks for following me. Do you also have a blog I can follow? Send me a link if you do.

Well, truthfully, when I bought a set with all three types, I didn't have any idea about the skin types they were intended for. Since you asked, I became curious, so I did a quick Google search and according to some beauty bloggers' reviews, the Green Tea is for oily skin and the Chocolate is for dry skin. Hope that is helpful.

I just finished my Strawberry-which I loved. I'll probably use the Green Tea next. So, stay tuned because I'll probably be posting a review on that one soon :-)
